Hello from thinkpure!
First, I want to say that I consider myself incredibly lucky to have friends and clients like you who share a passion for design and architecture. Our environments shape our worlds – which is why I have always felt so fortunate to do the work I do.
At the same time, I’ve also been curious about how to impact people outside my client base and show them the “thinkpure” philosophy of modern, warm, pared-down spaces. Beyond having a blog or an Instagram account, it’s not always easy to connect with people who love my perspective and approach, but don’t have the budget for a designer.
An opportunity came to me last May that really hit a chord; a chance to renovate a kitchen for HGTV. I was excited about the challenge of taking an extremely budget-conscious approach to design – not because my clients aren’t also cost-minded, but because this constraint actually defined the project.
One of the things that interested me most about this project was the ability to share my work with a much broader audience. I hope you’ll join me in watching HGTV House Hunters Renovation on Saturday, February 27th at 10PM, PST.
