designers to follow from ICFF

Every year in May, designers from all over the world descend upon New York City for the International Contemporary Furniture Fair.

From textiles to furniture and accessories, to conceptual prototypes, ICFF is where both new designers and veterans showcase the very latest in contemporary living.

We’ve chosen some of our favorite designers and products from past ICFF showcases. Take a look…

Khouri Guzman Bunce is the collaborative brainchild of architects David Khouri, Robert Guzman, furniture designer Christiaan Bunce, and new addition Ford Lininger. The concept and craftsmanship of this all-marble occasional table is what initially attracted us. Visit to see more from this innovative group.

We first discovered furniture, lighting and accessory designer Gilles Caffier at Maison & Objet in Paris several years ago, and since then we’ve been fascinated with the designer’s avante garde forms.

David Okum of Okum Made has been garnering attention for his fresh and minimalist approach to desktop accessories, paying special care to the preservation and integrity of natural materials.

Designer and artist Eric Slayton made his ICFF debut several years ago with his Plate Leg Console. He returned to ICFF to introduce several new pieces, including the Bundle Light, shown here in porcelain, gold glaze and a leather strap.

One of our all-time favorite ICFF discoveries is lighting designer Lindsey Adelman. Since meeting her at the design fair several years ago, we have used her incredibly unique light fixtures in several Thinkpure projects.
